    Hey fellas,

    I've got my curve!

    ONE MAJOR PROBLEM

There is no 'Save Image' option in the browser menu.

In the HELP feature it says there should be a 'Save Image' option in the browser.

However I cannot save images from the web.

    'Save Image' is missing.

This is driving me up the wall!

    Can you please help?

    Thanks

    Thanks Ronnie,

    However it's not there!

    It seems bizzare.

In the menu I select: 'Select Mode'

I scroll to / highlight an image.

    Click menu > Full Image

Click menu > 'Save Image' option missing!

    Anyone come across this before?

In select mode on your curve, when you have the picture selected, is "Save Image" not an option under Full Image?

To my knowledge the 8310 cannot save any email attachments. This a quite deliberate choice on the part of RIM for corporate security reasons.

Saving email attachments is possible using 3rd party software eFile Pro™ for BlackBerry says that it allows this. I am sure that there are other products too.

    Thanks!

To quote Berryman from another thread regarding saving email attachments:

"The answer to you question is no! However you can save text files. Mostly because of security concerns, you can only save video, photo, music files. You could perhaps think about using the free BeamBerry to save your files."

Berryman claims that is possible to save images.

I would resolve this issuse completely, hence if anyone has an absolute answer to this I'd be grateful.

Maybe it isn't a supported image type. I had this problem trying to save an image, and it wasn't a .jpg type image.

Also in my help files it clearly and simply states that I can 'Save Pictures' from my web browser by selecting 'Save Image' from the menu.

However clearly that's where the problem lies.

    'Save Image' is not there.

    Brains?

    Please try this:

    Go to the Main Menu.

    Select Help.

    Scroll to Media.

    Scroll to Pictures.

    Scroll to Save a picture.

I can save Brower images from my 8320 in Hotspot mode, but I can not tested it in the the bb connected mode.

Navigate to a page with an image, Change to Select Mode and highlight the image.

From here, you can select Full Size image or save a copy of the thumbnail.

After selecting Full Size image, you can still choose Save.

Does this not match your Brower options?

My browser does not match your screen shots.

    'Save Image' is no where!

I don't believe I can get 'HOTSPOT' mode on my 8310.

    Not sure what that is?

I find it hard to believe I cannot save images on my Blackberry!

    It's lame.

That is why I had to specify I am using the Hotspot (Wifi) Browser.

Somebody else will have to confirm what the connected Browser looks like.

I had the same problem once. Solution is simple:
Go to BROWSER OPTIONS, BROWSER CONFIGURATION, and enable SUPPORT EMBEDDED MEDIA.
Now you'll see the save picture option
