No red asterisk indicator?
I just recieved a replacement Curve because the vibrator did not work. I downloaded and activate the new one. The little red asterisk appears only on the messages icon and not on the appropriate e-mail icon. How the heck do I fix it. I've been messing with this thing for hours. Please Help. Thanks

No custom themes and yes, I separated sms.

battery pull always works for me whenever i don't have an asterisk.

maybe it is defective tight out of the box.... no software can fix a broken hardware program...

Have you messed with your email options, there is a setting in there to show email icon
Message, menu, options, general options,
New message indicator, yes?
