Just wondering, are back and forward slashes even valid characters in email addresses? I have never seen an email account with one. Also, I have never seen them listed as valid characters of an email address. Symbols like @, / , etc are used by the computer when locating addresses/files. So, this makes me wonder how you have an email address with one.

I think you are correct in your assumptions. One must wonder if Mandy is trying to put in a web address instead of an email address.
