    A new Curve 8310 owner here, who can't figure out how to "register" the device so as to access the data network. My ATT account reflects that I purchased the Blackberry data package, yet I can't get the phone to recognize that fact. When I attempt to register the phone through the Host Routing Table, I get an error message telling me, "Registration message queued. It will be sent once data coverage is available." Huh?

    Is there a setting on the phone that I need to switch?

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    lech, assuming you have your SIM card installed, what is the service you are getting: EDGE, edge, gsm?

    If anything other than EDGE, you should pull the battery with the BB powered on, and replace it to reboot the device. Often the registration service books you need don't get installed until the reboot.

    Ya, best bet at this point is too pull your battery and get EDGE...if that does not work, call AT&T, they may need to remove and readd your plan back on the account, something in the activation process may have gotten "stuck"
