Only new emails will be in HTML format. First go to Options>Advanced Options>Host Routing Table>Menu>Register Now. Then log into AT&T BIS Page and re-send service books. Then on the device click on email icon>Menu>Email Settings and make sure "Enable HTML" is set to yes. This should take care of it. Also, you must hit Menu>Get image in order to see the HTML image.

I did all of that and what I am telling you is that my BIS account now gets HTML emails, my BES account does not. Under email options the HTML is not listed as an option on my BES account but is on the BIS account. This is one of the main reasons I downloaded the update. I am guessing most on this thread get their mail through a personal BIS account so that is why HTML works for them.
If it is supposed to be for BES also it is not working on my berry.

And when are we going to get the tracking option so that we can choose not to send an opened reply when we open an email from our bberry?

I'll try resending the service books, but I do not have this option. The only options I have under Email Settings are: Confirm Delivery, Confirm Read, Send Read Receipts.

Bingo, now its there! Thanks!!!!

I was giving the other poster instructions. But it sounds to me like your company has an old version of BES. What version are they using? If they aren't using SP 6 then you will never get HTML rendering.

Check with you Network Admin. But it sounds to me that they have an older version that doesn't support HTML. Sorry.

Default Email delay with 4.5 OS

I downloaded 4.5 OS yesterday and it's been great. However, I've noticed a slight delay (sometimes) in email delivery. I did a battery pull and that seemed to help some; but I'm still getting sporadic delays. Any ideas?

I've done "register now" and re-send service books from the BIS webpage, but I still don't have an option under email setting to "enable html". I've also done a few battery pulls. Any other idea's? Thanks

Angry Can't Upgrade To Os 4.5.0.81-help!!!!!

I am having the same issue with the 8310 from ATT/Cingular as cliffordsound. I downloaded the 4.5.081 and deleted the vendor.xml file. The DM 4.6 wouldn't recognize it. I even did the JL_Cmr wipe and when I went to reinstall the OS, the only one on my computer was v4.5 and it still did not recognize it, so I redownloaded my previous OS just to get my berry up and running. I have uninstalled the DM 4.6 and v4.5 several times then reinstalled them with NO luck whatsoever. I even downloaded an older version of 4.5 (.055) and no luck there either. Is it something with the handheld itself? ANY help would be greatly apprecited. I have down this download before on my other berries so I don't understand the problem with this one. ANY ideas? Thanks

Exclamation 8300 Video Problems after upgrade to v4.5.0.81

I just updated my 8300 to v4.5.0.81 and everything updated fine. The only problem that I have noticed so far is that the video/audio are out of sync.

Anyone else having this problem and if so, is there a fix.

Figured out my issue. I did setup email from the bb instead of the web. When i logged in it said my phone was registered with the wrong pin then updated to the new one. Weird, but it works now.
