Looks like I've finally been able to share some News before I seen it on this site!

Can someone try this out and tell me how it goes?
I have a lot of registered apps and I have to know if its worth the hassle.

    I changed my mind.
I'm trying this when I go home, the wireless update option is gone from my phone. o-o
Anyone know how to get it back?
And my help takes me to an unable to find page thing.

Not sure what's up with "Wireless Update". Mine disappears randomly, although it was there tonight, but did not find an update.
I have it installed, and I really haven't noticed much of a difference. A little more free memory, and maybe a little quicker on the Browser. I'm not having any app issues. Seems pretty stable.

Just loaded this latest version. Other than losing my calendar entries on my today screen (they are there in the calendar) everything seems to be working. Messenger is there and seems fine.

What is the difference? Are there any changes? ANYTHING? And why do they keep coming out with 4.0 updates when every other phone already has 5.0!? C'mon let's be serious!

One difference I've noticed is that while u can seperate sms/mms and email messages, NOW u can seperate sms AND mms.

Ever since the *.175 update that Wireless Update option has had a mind of its own!

I just was able to download this latest update via the Wireless...installing now.

    Fingers crossed!

ETA: The Wireless Update option mentioned an updated user interface...anyone catch that in the description or see it after completing the update?

I like the update. I got 10 MB more memory. I believe it was shrunk a lil bit. I currently have 45MB free compared to the 33MB I had right before installing. No freeze-ups or anything. Faster browser too!

Can't wait to test it out...the upgrade is currently in the "Linking Java" stage.

How come it doesn't offer the update when connected to the desktop manager? I ran the update checker and it didn't even show or offer it? I'm currently downloading it wirelessly now...16% complete

I'm not sure why. Initially I was going to try to go thru the DM but it didn't show the update as available. When I went in to Wireless Updates on the device I downloaded and installed. So far so good too! I have to say, it seems a little peppier while navigating from application to application as well as the browser.

DM prolly hasn't received it yet bc it was just released yesterday. I love the memory space that has grown and NO LEAKS EITHER!!! Has been at 44MB now and I've done some browsing and added myspace 2.0! Very happy. And signal strenght holds its own. No more 5 bars then directly to no bars! And 5.0 may be great and all but I would rather have more mem space for apps then have threaded sms or a better alarm clock.

I don't find it to be a downgrade. I don't have memory leaks and my battery last longer. I'm verrrryy happy. *.175 had too many problems and they will be noticed the longer you have it. (i.e. Memory leaks of about 8-12mb, battery drainage of about 4% more, and freeze-ups and restarts.) *.186 is amazing. I don't even want 5.0 bc my friend updated to it and said memory shot down to 15MB. Forget that

Are you sure you don't have a hybrid OS on your BB? The hybrid may have some 5.0 files on it, which is why you are getting the downgrade message.
