It's not just you. My wifi connection seems slightly worse with this OS as well. There is an even newer one out now but I think I'm just going to revert back to the previous one.

Default v4.5.0.152 update

I have updated my 8310 with the v4.5.0.152 OS and it seems to be working very fine. It comes with so many enhancements,
