I just bought the BB 8310 Curve. I have more than four hundred contacts on my old BB, I forget the model, It is black and much wider, But I need to transfer the phone numbers from the old BlackBerry to the new one.
I had a little bit of help at the AT&T store, but I was told the old blackberry wasn't able to transfer data because I dropped it and broke the face plate.
Use the switch device wizard bult into desktop manager, or do a selective backup using desktop manager, just save your address book as a backup and then load that backup to your new device, whoever told you that you couldn't back it up due to the faceplate being broken was on some good drugs! lol
