I currently have a bb-8800 for tmobile but picked up a curve cheap but its for at&t my question is if I have the curve unlocked for tmobile will all features work like oem. do I have to have tmobile software installed? any answer will be appreciated

Yes it will work fine unlocked and you can use any carriers software on it as long as you delete the vendor xml file
