I just upgraded from a phone to a Curve about 2 weeks ago....the last two or three days in the middle of the night my Curve starts getting e-mails from 5 months ago. While I read these e-mails and they are probably still on my AOL received mail, they are not being resent to me so why would they be showing up as new on my Curve? Can anyone help me?
It sounds like the BB is polling the server and seeing the messages as new, because the BB hasnt seen them yet. Try making a new folder, and moving all the old messages in to that.
That is really strange. Since the email is pushed you would think it would have to be sent for it to be routed to your phone.
You might try either a hard reset (battery pull) or try deleting/re-establishing the email address through att.blackberry.net.
I use Yahoo and fortunately have not experienced any problems yet. If neither of those two suggestions work, I am sure a BB expert will come to the rescue.
