    So I updated the to the latest & greatest software for my Verizon 8330, it's v4.5.0.138 (platform 3.4.0.30) and now my messenger contact list is all jacked. I tried deleting everyone and re-adding them and I can't get rid of them. Their names are gone but it still shows the number of contacts. When they try to add me back they come up twice. I tried a battery pull, no luck.

    I knew I should have just left it alone dammit!

    If you have a backup from before you upgraded this is easy to fix, do you have a backup?

    nope, but I did a second battery pull and it's getting better... only one remains.
