So im putting together a new housing and it came with a part thats preventing me to completely close the housing. can anyone tell what it is and if its important. Thanks

it came part of the mid-plate im not sure if its some type of antena but it wont let me shut it close completely cuz its bulk sorry about the bad pics

The antenna is the gold peice of sticky under the bottom clip

When ive changed housings, and I have 6 so do it often LOL Ive never done anything to the midplate, I simply take off the housing and replace
Could it be to do with the camera lens? I cant quite see it,

its towards the bottom of the midplate. the motherboard is supposed jus close in smoothly but im not sure if i should keep the black thing thats inside the metal. maybe this is a better picture

Lord, I have NO idea what that can be, Ive never taken apart/out my midplate. Does youtube have any vis with midplate assembly?

Whatever that is it does not look "functional" Try assembling the
housing without it and see how the housing fits and feels. If all
seems normal put them away in case you find out what they are for.
