Sorry if many of you know this already, this is my first BB and I'm still finding out new things.

Anyway, while listening to music via your BB most know you can use the rocker to raise/lower the volume. But this evening I just found out that you can also skip back and forth between tracks by holding the corresponding button down for a couple seconds. I find this very useful when listening to music while say browsing the web or IMing, no more need to switch between apps just to change the song.

I just got my first bb a couple weeks ago as well. I was tired of doing the very same thing. I guess I could have RTFM, but lazyness kicked in. So thank you for the tip!

yea. i found that out not too long ago. I would try and increase the volume and i would hold it down and it would skip to the next song. It was annoying for a while until i found out what it does, now that i know that it does that it comes in handy.

Not sure it matters, as there are not many of us left ,
but it does not work on OS 4.2.

Are you trying to do it within the media player itself or on the home screen and/or a different application?

I don't think it works when in the media player.
