Just upgraded yesterday from my trusty Pearl 8130 to the Curve 8330 (couldn't wait forever for Sprint to come out with a new BB). My question is this, do I have to close apps everytime I exit to save memory? I had to manually exit each time on the Pearl and wondered if that was still necessary.
Yes you will still be closing apps the same way. The earl has 64mb memory and the curve has 96mb but it is still a good idea to practice the same things you were doing before.
That was fine on your pearl. Also great on your curve. Keep in mind the size difference in memory is 32 mb. When you start getting around 13mb is when your device will start running slow and possibly deleting messages. Take a look at the link in my signature for memory optimization for more info.
