I've done a bit of searching and from what I can tell this phone cannot be rigged to use with AT&T. If anyone knows a way, I'd love to hear it, but let's assume this is not a possibility. The reason a buddy gave me this phone is because my Curve 8310 is beat up pretty bad and the vibrate function doesn't work anymore, even after a battery pull(I am holding off on the reboot as a last resort). Is it possible to take the case from the 8330 and perhaps other pieces and put them on my current curve?

You are correct, the 8330 (CDMA) cannot be made to work on AT&T (GSM).

As mentioned above, you can put the 8330 housing and keyboard tray on your 83XX:

Don't clean the lens with alcohol as mentioned in the tutorial though. It could make your screen hazy.
