So i just got a curve 8310 for christmas and I love it. I bought a 1gb card for it put music on it put it in the phone and not all the music was there most of it but a few bands were not and they were all the same format. I didnt think much of it but just now i was going through and deleting some pictures and a trial of a game, and then i restarted the curve. It booted back up and i checked and all my music was there? I am wondering was it the restart? or freeing up space? or what? i am just curious as to why this worked so i can understand my new phone a little better, thanks guys.

It was likely the reboot. A battery removal usually fixes most nuisance problems on a BB.

Sometimes the BB has to re-register the SD card. I've experienced the same thing on my pearl. The simplest explanation is - it's like walking into a room and looking around, then coming back and noticing the glass you left there last night. That make sense?
