I just got my BB Curve 8330. So far I love it! I was wondering if I am running the most recent and updated Operating System and does it really make a different if I am not?

Right now I am running v4.5.0.77 (Platform 3.2.0.51)

How would I go about updating my phone and does it really make a difference?

    Thanks for anyone's help!

Newer OS's fix bugs and other issues that older ones may have had. They usually also add a little more file free with each one.

Follow the instructions in the above thread to update your OS.

The only occasional annoyance I've found with the .77 is the speaker volume blast on occasion when answering a call. I haven't had it happen in a long time and I don't plan to update the OS anytime soon. I've found the .77 to be solid and see little reason to change other than to say I have the latest and (maybe) greatest...or maybe not.

.160 is quite a solid update. Stable and fixes the volume issue.
