Hello my fellow crackberry addicts. I am suffering from new blackberry withdrawel. I have a 8703e for vzw and am not eligable for an upgrade till Oct. I love the curve but I know the Thunder is coming around Sept. The full retail price of the curve right now is $419 without the contract. This is a lot for a phone. Should I just bite the bullet and get it or wait till im eligible for an upgrade and get the Thunder??

I was able to upgrade 4 months early for my Ne2. I just called them and was very nice. They helped me out. You know, anything to get you to renew for 2 more years lol. Especially with the new phones that are coming out on ATT they would want you to renew so you wouldn't jump ship in Oct.

How early did you get your ne2? I am looking to get a blackberry now because I just started commuting but I am up for NE2 in August. But I dont just want to get a blackberry I also want to renew 4 lines and get 3 more free phones. Seem doable?

See if faced with a Curve or a Thunder, i would go with the Curve. I'm not all that amazed by a touchscreen, and would prefer an actual qwerty keyboard as opposed to a touchscreen keyboard (even with tactile feedback) anyday.

But, that JMHO and just my preference

I would just call them and see what they think about an early upgrade. If you pay your bills on time and never really call in, hopefully they notice and look you out.
