hey guys i just got a new bb curve last month, and the video player is a little iffy. it can be a little slow at times and there is sound of people talking on my tv shows, but their lips aren't moving. sometimes the phone can be a bit slow too.

is this normal, does any one else experience this too? or is it just my phone?

I've never had that problem. Did you try a battery pull?

    what OS are you running?

Are you using the BB memory or an SD card?

    How big is the file?

How much memory is available on your phone?

What else do you have running?

yeah i did, its not the battery, just the whole phone can be slow at times, like you select something and it takes a while to open.

pictures same thing then i want to go to the next pic or a previous pic, it has loading time, which is pretty annoying.

and the video player is still slow, i want to exchange it at the t-mobile store, but im not sure if its my phone, or if its most bb's that have this problem.

is anyone else experiencing any of these?

Check to see what you have running. From the home screen hit your options button>switch aplication. Close the programs you aren't using and it might speed it up a bit.

It could be format dependent, 3GP and MP4 all preform well. What format are your videos?

There is something else that may be slowing things down, what is your Free Memory?

No, that is your media memory space.

Options / Status.... third line down.

MP4 should work well. I presume you used Windows to copy it to the media card. You could try exporting it with Roxio Media Manager, it has some built in conversions that work really well.

Roxio is packaged with Desktop Manager v4.3 and up.
