I have a Verizon BB Curve 8330 I just got that is running 4.5.0.77
Is there any other firmware I should put on that is better? Main thing I would love to have is Google Maps working since Verizon disabled it.

I always preferred to keep .77 on my curve when I had it. I found it to be the most stable OS that I had put on it.

Welcome to CB! Yes there is 4.5.0.138 for the 8330. I would suggest downloading that and giving it a try. I think google maps works as well!

Any big problems with the new firmware. I don't want to hurt the phone. I came from a palm centro and let's say I'm in love hehe

Hehe, I love it.
At the top I see two firmwares for the 8330's. How do I know if its a MEID or ESN.
I think Verizon is MEID cuz it has MEID written on the box and not ESN, but wanted to be sure =]
