    Hello fellow Crackberries!

    Excuse my ignorance as I am new to BB and CB. Do I need to download some applications to my 8310 ATT Curve in order to view pdf & excel files?


    side note: - this site ROCKS!!! Kudos to Kevin, the webmasters and everyone in the community. I was up until 3 am last night using this site to trick out my new Curve!!!!

    The BB101 lessons were awesome!!

    I am new to BB also...I can open the pdf attachments however the only thing I can see is the pages numbers...I have experienced this difficulty with multiple pdf attachements and I can open them on my PC. There does not appear to be a problem with the pdf's.

    Do in need 3rd party software for this?
    I was told I wouldn't need it. Perhaps there is a setting in the phone that is not allowing me to view the pdf?
    I was able to view an excel file earlier.
