i just ordered my new 8320, AT&T model, and i'm dying to customize it! i'm wondering if anyone can help me find the RIGHT products that will fit, and give me the least headache? i'm looking to buy a silver or titanium color housing, and a black upper keypad. i've already found a ton of black trackball and bezels on ebay. can anyone tell me where to find the housing and keypad, relatively inexpensive and guaranteed to fit?

There are no black keyboard trays, what you are referring to as the black upper keypad, available for the 83XX series.

That is why people who want the black home row keys put 8330 housings on their 83XX phones:

So to be clear, you should be looking for a full 8330 housing kit that includes a keyboard tray and keypad.

The tutorial linked above is done by someone who put an 8330 housing on an 83XX phone like yours.

sounds like i need the 8330 housing. when i say upper keypad, i'm referring to the send and end keys on either side of the trackball.

Yes, you need the 8330 housing. The keyboard tray is the part with the 4 keys you want in black.
