It means that it's not picking up the device being connected to the BlackBerry Servers.

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan on the device?

You need to go to blackberry.sprint.com and register your bb.

I ran it again today and got completely different results, answering yes to the following this time. Is it possible that my location has weak signal to towers or something? I have a buddy with an iphone that told me he doesn't get 3g where we live (dekalb illinois). Could something similar be true in this case? It just seems that my service fluctuates a bunch and I'm frequently pulling the battery for instances like not being able to load web pages.

I dont think it would have anything to do with the speed of the network that your on. As long as your getting a connection you should be connected to the server?

This is a little off topic but sometimes instead of 1XEV I get 1Xev in lowercase and I can't load web pages or send text messages, I have to do a battery pull ti fix it does anyone know why this happens and how I can stop it from happening?

Well it might help to do a PRL update. You will have to call Sprint and have them set it up so you can do a PRL update. Also too what OS are you running? 4.5.0.131?
