My work e-mail is going to vpn based, so I can no longer under existing setting receive it. my phone does not show that in options is it available or is aftermarket option.

you would be better off asking someone in your it department or you could always forward all your emails to your devices email account. Im not sure if the blackberry supports vpn access.
