When trying to update the OS, my BB goes through the back up part but when it gets to accessing the boot rom the BB resets over and over until I get the fatal error message on the desktop software. Any ideas? I have already done this process on my other BB and it went perfectly. Oh ya updating to .69 if that helps. the strange thing is I did everything the same and one worked fine and this one is doing this.

This happened to me during an OS upgrade once.... I ended up using JL_cmdr to completely wipe the device and then upgrade!

Follow the link in my signature for Proper Upgrade Procedure, and that should lead you in the right direction
