I recently purchased a domain and set up a website and email that ends in @{mydomain}.com. To log in to the email account you go through hotmail.com. When i try to add this to my curve it says,
"We were unable to configure <email address>. Choose one of the following options and select next.
-I will provide the settings to add this email
-Re-enter email address and password. (this didnt work obviously)
I select the first option and get,
"Select type of account you want to configure:"
-Internet Service Provider Email (POP/IMAP)
-Outlook(R) Web Access
I chose first option and got,
"Select option that indicates the way you access this email account:"
-I will provide the settings to add this email.
-I have this email account set up in Outlook
I chose first option and it asked me to put in my email, user name, password, and Email Server.
For my email server i entered mail.live.com. (assuming this is for hotmail users)
After this i received the message Cannot connect to email server or invalid server name: Please verify the server name.
PLEASE HELP. No point in having an email account if i cant have it on my BB lol.
