I have only had my BB for a few weeks, and finally got a memory card. The first time I loaded music through the Device Manager, it worked well. I could see all the songs when I went to the Music Icon. I have since deleted all data from the music folder on the DM and loaded new music. Now I can see the files and play them from memory card, but the new music is not visible from the actual Music Icon. In fact, the music I deleted shows to be available, but of course it will not play... because it is not there.

How do I reset the system to recognize the songs that I recently loaded?

    Thank you in advance!!!

Have you tried enabling media card support which can be found in <options>media card. Also try mass storage mode which is in the same place

Try a battery pull? Not sure what else would cause the problem.

Do you know how to make a playlist?

You can't.....yet. Only option would be to adjust the album name(or artist name) of all the songs you want to the same thing. And then select to play just the album.

Honesty its not worth for a huge playlist
