the instruction manual says my 8330 uses an SD but a search on ebay only turns up SDHC cards

i know some electronic devices cannot use SDHC, it has to be SD

can my 8330 actually use both, or just SD like manual says?

You have to have a high OS like 4.3 or 4.5 to use the bigger ones. If you do its hard to go wrong with Newegg.com - Kingston 8GB Micro SDHC Flash Card Model SDC4/8GB - Flash Memory

Everything I've read says in an 8330 with a 4.5+ OS, an 8GB card will work just fine. I have an 8GB MicroSDHC card in my 8330 and it's working flawlessly. I picked mine up at amazon.com for $25 including shipping, two months ago. The prices may have already dropped. Having 8GB means I can keep backups of my work files, music files, videos, ringtones and other documents without having to worry about free file space. I recommend an 8GB MicroSDHC card for anyone running a BB with OS 4.5+. It is definately worth it.
