I need to know how often the Curve checks email by default, is there anyway to make it do it more often? I rely on my email for business so this is pretty important.

The curve doesn't check. The BES or BIS does and pushes it. So if you are on a BIS it is it's settings.

it is from my web host, I am just forwarding everything important to the BIS address.. works better.
