I just got my phone yesterday and have been setting up and personalizing it. Tonight after rearranging my icons on the applications page, it hit the button to go back to my home page and the screen froze.
Not only did it freeze, it changed the background picture and frozen with no icons at all. I turned the phone off and on, no change. I pulled the battery for 30 seconds and I got my background picture back, but no icons and when I hit the menu key, nothing happens.
I can still receive and make phone calls, I just can't access any applications.
Do you have any advice on how to unfreeze my screen without having to wipe the phone?
Sounds like a software issue. Maybe upgrade to os 4.5. If that doesn't do the trick just call technical support to whoever carrier your with and they should be able to send you a new curve if there is no solution to your problem
