I bought the "baby blue" housing off eBay from this seller.
Here are the pics! I put my light blue Shuffle in one or two of the pics to show how (not) baby blue it is.
Front, in hand.
I used this invaluable tutorial to install it. The seller offered free shipping and it was under $25. The package included two screwdrivers but no prying tool.
Also, I have a frosty pink housing set coming from China. I will post another review when I receive it. And next time, I'll use a screen protector!
EDIT: How do I make my pictures smaller? I'm not used to posting pictures on a board. I know the <img src > but not [img] codes.

Reason: better pictures added
thats pretty cool, i dont think i would mess arround with the tour colors when i get it, unless i got a colorware one. however, i plan on buying a new bezel/ casing for my old curve, because i wont really care about the warranty in a few weeks
I didn't put a screen protector on it (it had one for the longest time but thought I'd do it "later" with this one). you're right; so many scratches. i also ordered a metallic pink and i'm going to make damn sure my pink one has a screen protector.
That looks great!! I'm wondering if anyone has had theirs custom painted. Is there a way to get a plain shell and have some automotive paint & body shop go to town? Hmmm..........maybe I'll try that. Be on the look out for something cool, hopefully. I really do like your "new" curve. SWEET

How long did it take and can any regular joe do it?
My worry is getting everything to fit tight and line up nicely

With the right tools, I think just about anyone can do it. It does take some patience (dust removal!) and a little bit of hand-eye coordination (some parts are delicate). But if you've ever done anything similar...hmmm. More complicated than putting a memory stick in a camera but not much. It's not a major overhaul. Your kit should come with the correct tools (screwdrivers and pry tool). You should also have canned air on-hand for the screen. Make sure you understand each step before you attempt it because I believe changing your housing voids your warranty(?). Plus you can screw up your phone. I think underneath the U piece at the bottom is a signal receiver of some sort (correct me, I'm sure it's wrong but there's something important there!) that can be damaged if you don't remove that piece carefully.
I believe the parts are all OEM, they come from Hong Kong. My blue housing came from Texas but I'm sure it originally came from Hong Kong. Everything fits together and looks like it was made for it...except my botton U shaped piece. It doesn't quite snap. I don't know if it's the fault of the new piece or my old phone. I'm not sure. It fits, it stays on, but it sticks out a hair and doesn't make a tight click.
It probably took me about 30-45 minutes. Next time will be a bit quicker, I would imagine. Check the original link for the tutorial and go through it step-by-step a few times. It's really not much more complicated than that.
I like. My husband changed m housing to white and I swap out the skins. Although the housing came complete, it didn't come with the light. Didn't realize it until I went to use the flashlight. Now he has to take it back apart. My housing sticks out a hair too.
