ha! you rich folks and yourmullets jumping into your camaros and hitting the local wal-mart. i went the cheap easy route. i open the drawer at work, took a pack of colored sharpies and close my eyes. the random color was red. using a rubber glove, i rolled the ball and sharpie between my thumb and finger completely coloring the ball. for s and giggles, i placed it in a styrofoam cup and poured some hot water (from the coffee maker) and soaked it there. dried it off, place it back and done! looks as good and quicker, cheaper than rummaging around wal-mart looking for a product that's also named after a medication used to kill lice.

Question Pink??

Has anyone tried to dye their trackball PINK? How does it look?? I HATE red so I definitely don't want it to come out red.

Also, my trackball is pretty dirty. Do I need to clean it before I dye it to make sure the real color comes through??

Thanks!

No one has done a pink trackball, that I know of. Most have used the fuschia dye.

Since you want a pink TB, it would be better to dye a new, clean TB. You can buy new OEM TBs from eBay seller mobilexny for $4.84 each, which includes first class shipping from NY. You will have your new trackball/ring in a few days.
