I wonder if they'd be opaque rather than transparent. Tell us how the red one goes! Thanks for the tip!
glad to hear this worked for you. Got pics?

And yes I know he just stated his opinion. But why do you bother posting something like that in the middle of a thread where people are asking questions on durability, on how to do it, where to buy the product. Had he posted, " i dont really like the way it came out and worried about durability or texture" I would of been like "ok, I see where you're coming from".
In case you forgot, this is an open forum. Everybody can state their opinion and you have no choice but to live with it. Crackberrykills was trying to explain this to you, it obviously didn't register, so here it is again...

Wow I have seen a lot of worthless and immature post in these forums and I thought someone with 4K+ post would be above that maturity level. Guess not. Just goes to show you, Quanity ≠ Quality...

It can be a little scary considering how sensitive the metal ring is on the Curve, also the rollers can be quite tricky. If you do give it a try, good luck, and post your results. If i can do it, I'd much rather spend $2.50 on the Rit dye than $15 on a new trackball.

There are also fabric markers that you can get at any craft store, they are just like dye, so they should work the same.

I was crushed when I made the discovery as well. Don't worry, you aren't the only one who had their day ruined.

Oh its not ruined.

Im just wondering what yours is since some of ours are much larger than yours.

But again, I must have forgotten that being new to the site or not really a regular pretty much gives you free reign to assume, or say anything you want - yet those of us who are around longer must sit and take some of this rubbish.

Why don't you just download the coloring program that they have for the pearl won't it work on the curve too?

It doesnt work on curves, the pearls also have the LED near the trackball, curves dont have that feature.

If the curve don't have LED's then how does the track ball light up?
