Probably make some good coin.. Let's say you sold 1k track balls w/ a profit of lets say 5 bucks each..that's 5 g's..
Nope I'm testing my red one now, going on a week, no dye rub off, as long as you keep it away from alcohol.

Finally a blue one... go for it.

Try to keep it light though, so the light can get through the ball. You can always go back and repeat the dye process if it's not dark enough, it's almost impossible to go back if it's too dark.

I've been rubbing on my green ball with alcohol dipped swabs and the color coming off is very minimal. The dye really gets into the plastic material, it's not just on the surface.

My WalMart had only about 4 colors.

Ended up going to a Ben Franklin, the RIT cost almost double what WalMart charged, but at least they had more colors available. Still, they only had about 1/3 of the colors on the chart.

Find a decent craft store near you! They should have a much larger variety of colors. As for the guy that mentioned buying these in bulk and selling, these things are a pain to put back together, but I have thought about it .

They definitely are!

My next attempt at green will be using yellow as a base with the green added to it. I think this yellow-green is what I'm after.

Once you take the assembly apart a few times its no big deal. Then again im not shy about experimenting, ha. But I took it all apart & dyed the track ball Blue, ive decided to let it "cure" for a while before i put it back in. So tomorrow when its all back together i'm gonna try to post pics. Mine turned out pretty dark tho, & i only left it in the dye for like 7 minutes. But oh well its still gonna be sweet
