Thanks !The paint brand is "Tamiya Color" the color is "Brilliant Blue" Its for plastics....RC cars I believe. I used "testors" clear coat because they were sold out of the Tamyia clear coat....but both worked very well. Picked them both up from a Shaver & Hobby shop.
I think the key to coming close to the Colorware look is doing a lot of clear coats. I used almost the entire can....and did it over afew days ( was able to use my old 8800 while my curve was in pieces)
Looks fantastic! I was going to order a shell from RIM and have my body shop paint it Rosa Red to match my 430. now I might try it myself. You've insipred me. Great job!
did you remove the clear lense? or just tape around it?
Just taped around it. I used clear scotch tape and then carved around the edge's with a saftey pin to make sure i got as close as possible. I did this on both the front and the back.
Looks great! My only minor suggestion is to get a black keypad to complete the look.
black keyboard is on the way!!! I was going to wait for it before i painted....but Hong Kong to Canada usually takes a few weeks. Should look pretty good when it arrives though!
I luv your BlueBerry!!! It looks awesome, good job! If I was brave enough, I would have a different color berry for each month but I don't know if I could manage doing it myself lol...I guess that's why I had ColorWare pimp it out
