hi there..
actualy it has been bothering me about a couple of week.. i try to find answer in google but there is no luck.
do anyone here know why my bb could now update to 4.5 version ?
when i try to update using destop manager 4.7 it stuck after loading the java.
what i has try is

1. try to format using loader 8310 but after format its always keep connected and disconnected from pc
2. i try to use MFI Multiloader 2.0.1.3 to erease all but still fail the same with loader it keep connect and disconencted
3. i try flash directly using desktop manager 4.7 just like i said.. still no luck..

sorry for my poor english but i still hope there is somebody get to my point

DM 4.7 isn't very good with the 83XX series. Use Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs to delete DM 4.7 and download/install DM 4.6

Also, what operating system are you using on your PC? There is a known issue with Windows 7 Beta.

Which 4.5 OS are you trying to install? If it's 4.5.0.110, it's not very good IMO. 4.5.0.124 is better, with less problems.

You might also want to wipe everything off your BB first with JL Commander before reloding the OS:

i use desktop manager 4.5 and 8310EastAsia_PBr4.5.0_rel174_PL2.7.0.92_A4.5.0.124 _Indosat.exe

but still faild.. it come to reconeting java and my bb 8310 keep connect and disconnecting from the computer while reconnecting to the java

any idea?

It will do that just leave it alone until it's done unless you've gotten some kind of error message.

after come to the picture number 3.. it keep disconnect and connect from my pc ( the coonect and disconect sound keep looping )

and also my blackberry screen is blank.. i also try use jl commander to wipe also fail.

really weird..

I'm not sure why you're using MFI.

Follow the instructions HERE but use DM 4.5 or 4.6.

Make sure you delete the vendor.xml file found here: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader

I would just use the Desktop manager 4.5 to update your bb to OS 4.5, word flawless for me

I just updated my OS on my 8310 last night and it went flawlessly. It was my first time and I am not very techno savvy. I am running DM4.6 with Vista om my laptop. I downloaded OS version 4.5.0.81 0ff of Rogers site. I could no believe how easy it was.

The OP was probably using the MFI multiloader to unlock their phone.
