you ASKED to be told what to do. if you dont want to be told anything, then dont ask.

besides, you're asking in the wrong forum. there's a beta forum just for this purpose. you can start by searching there first. you may even learn that based on YOUR requirements, any number of the betas may or may not meet them depending on each beta's quirks.

so go do an effing search before asking so you know what questions to ask. like i said, your mother doesnt post here.

its ok yankee, thx for lookin at my post anyways.

and no need to break anything up, i just hate it when someone comes in and spouts somethin stupid like do a search.

betas are always coming out and i wanted to kno the most recent info, not somethin from a year ago like what a search would show me.

no, i asked for information, not to be told what to do. READING COMPREHENSION!

my questions were also device specific, so i believe this is a great place for my post.

please just stay out of my thread.

    Now, for some useful info:

I have run .42, .44 and .52 on my Curve 8320!! So far, I am liking .52 the best!!

There is no memory leak at all, no VM icon bug, everything is stable. The white-balance is a little better!

Just leaked yesterday so it is the most recent! The only little bump is that the UMA can drop connection randomly (when connected to WiFi). Everything else is fine!!

I have not even heard of .54... are you sure it is not .52???

Or is there another due to be leaked soon that I have heard nothing of?!?!

do you mean the white balance is better then what the phone ships with or the camera bug i heard about previously with the beta?

i plan to use my camera so is it a deal breaker?

im runnin .46 on my 8320 and everything is fine. except for the vm problem (no notification what-so-ever.) its better than my .42 on my 8100 which had THAT bug along with horrible camera white balance, and the red LED would blink non-stop even for a missed call.

i am, at the moment, downloading .52 b/c of the vm bug being fixed. i thought the camera was fine with my .46 so i cant wait to see it perfected with .52

.46 has minimal memory leaks and is super-stable... and you can NOT beat the video and voice note feature. amazing.

EDIT: thanks for the heads-up bmcclure937 on .52 bein out. much obliged

Has anyone had any issues with sim cards frying on .52? I know on one of the beta releases that was happening to tmo subscribers. I want to try a beta but I'm scared of that being a possible result.

On this one you are gonna have to search on your own,
and you're not supposed to ask for or post links to Beta
    s/ware - against forum rules

I'm thinking, if you have that fear, and know it's a possibility, it's
probably best to wait for an official "carrier blessed" version. Why
    put your BB at risk?

so far my 8100's .42 has not fried anything. nor my 8320's .46 (soon to be .52 after install )

this was happening with .37 but has been fixed

I wanted to wait, but the improvements make me want to try it. But you have a good point about risking it.

Simmer down grasshopper, you seem to be taking a lot personally
today. I don't know you or what you know, so I was trying to
help you out. And for the record, I did not say you can't ask
    that they be posted.

And one more piece of help, in the context of your little rant
    the correct spelling is allowed.

I have tried just about all of them and for a variety of reasons,
the most important being I need my phone to work, I keep coming
back to 4.2.2.194. Nothing as bad as what some T-Mo people
went through. But if you are new to the BB, wait it out, get to
know your device first, and then dive in. Brick it and there will always
be someone here to help you unbrick it.
