I'm new to this site but I think that if there is any possible way to get an answer this is the best chance I have.

Has anybody ever heard of modifying a blackberry curve 8310 to have wifi. I know I will need to buy a chip, I realize I cannot install it myself, I'm just wondering if it is possible.

Just sell it, and buy an 8320 unlocked....

I doubt there'd be room for the wifi, and if you did it, it would probably be so expensive, that you could just buy and 8320 unlocked from ebay, and keep your 8310. If you want wifi,gps, look into a bold.

i have the 8310 also and i just picked up two new (or maybe refurbished) sunset red 8320's for $150 each. im going to be selling my 8310 soon. i believe it was worth it because i dont have the data plan. Wifi FTW!
