I just updated my 8320 to the newest offical 4.5 os and everythings been fab and groovy until about an hour ago when my curve began to just freeze. After a battery pull it works just fine, but after a minute of anything it locks again.
Curious to find the problem, I pulled out the sd card and tried to boot again and it works just fine with no lockups. Again curious, I stuck the card back in and sure enough it locked up again!
Is there a file on the card causing ths, or is it 4.5 being bizzare? O_o?!

if you have pics that are 'too large' for the screen.. it'll lock up.. ive read it on here somewhere that resizing the pics to the proper dimensions of the screen.. it'll solve that lockup problem..
