So I bought a Spring Blackberry Curve 8330 on Ebay. It is the exact same model that MetroPCS uses but with a Sprint logo on the bottom. I took it to the store today and they say the can't flash it... Which I tell them thats highly unlikely because Metro flashes the phones in their final assembly. They just tell me no we can't.
So, I've seen plenty of services on craigslist and ebay, charging like $80 so that they can flash your phone to MetroPCS with all the goodies. They obviously unlock the phone and they must have the MetroPCS firmware put onto the blackberries or something.
Can anybody help me with this? Anyone know where I can find the firmware so I can flash it myself and then get it activated?
