I have a Curve 8330 from Verizon and although I have both the tone and LED notifications set, none seem to work when I receive a message. The ringer works for calls, but nothing else. Anyone else have this problem?

Nope...check the profile you're using and make sure that the notifications aren't muted (you've probably already done this...)

Ok I kinda had the same problem. Except my bbm notifications weren't working but all my other msg notifications were. When I first got my curve my bbm sound didn't work but the led notif did work, went to the tmo store about a speakerphone prob, did a master reset there and voila my bbm sound notif was working.

Yesterday my bbm notif wasn't working at all (led or sound) so I did another master reset an now I have no problems. So in short my advice would be to do a master reset (wipe handheld). I hope that helps
