I separated my email from my text messages but I still have to check the messages folder or the little red light will not go away, how can I stop this too?

What messages are in there when you are getting the alerts you don't want?

The messages folder will always have your messages. Separating just creates a separate folder for each your SMS and email. The messages inbox is a one stop for all messages kind of place. As for the LED, try a battery pull.

I did a battery pull. even though i have messages separated, I still have to check both places---the email or sms.

Not sure why!

I dont have a theme on here--it is the verzion theme that came on phone.
