My fone froze and got a text the same time, and now the message icon will not go away. I just got a text and it was italics and was below the other message icon. I've pulled the battery for about 5 mins, marked all messages read. . . . Anything else?

if you are sure its a text message, just have someone send you a new one and check it. that should make it go away. of not, delete all messages and see if that helps.

Messages>Menu>View Folder>Select Folder and delete if there are still messages in there

I have two message folders, Messages and SMS and MMS, my message folder is hidden and that's where the message was.
