I updated the 8330 to OS 4.5.0.131 and now the number of emails or sms/mms messages doesn't appear next to the envelope. I know its a little problem but its is slightly annoying anyway.

Can't find a fix in the forums anywhere help would be appreciated.

Are you using a new theme, some themes may not be designed to show number of messages.

Nope no new theme. Just the orginal Sprint theme with a wallpaper. I tried changing the themes to the other orginals that come with the phone and still no count number.
