Well, really this doesn't exactly depend on the device as much as the OS and amount of flash memoury available to the device to start with. Most Berries has 64MB. This is why I upgraded to the Curve from Verizon - 96MB.
jenay...i dislike you...haha nah just kidding. i hate that verizon curve has more memory. are cdma phones really that different under the hood that they can fit that much extra. grr.
This is the phenomenon of available memoury dipping lower and lower on your device as programs are installed, run, etc.. Just daily use of your phone uses up memoury. When your available memoury dips below 10MB, your device will begin to dump your call log, messages, and emails.

Don't be jealous.
Keep in mind that we at Verizon also probably won't see the Bold til 2015.
A Memory Leak is a technical problem that occurs when a program request additional memory and does not return it after use. If this occurs repeatedly, you will run out of memory, a leak.
That is not what is happening on the BlackBerry. Memory is well managed, perhaps too well managed. The BlackBerry has a low memory recovery program, with it gets called, data flies.
A battery pull forces a full reset, that clears temporary files and give you a fresh start.
