My memory is loooow. I usually run around 45mb to 40mb. Right now I'm at 36mb. I have cleared/deleted everything that takes up temporary memory. Cache, emails, SMS, call logs all have been deleted.

Nothing to worry about with your memory. 12,000,000 file free is usually considered the "worry point" but I've heard reports that OS 4.5 it's even lower, like 5mb.

Are you using Facebook? That's a known memory hog, also Viigo if its running in the background.

Also have you done a battery pull to really clear out everything and reset your BB?

Try a battery pull since you have tried a few other things.

No facebook, no Viigo. Did a battery pull and am upto 43mb as usual. My Empower is using my SD as a temp cache for images and I reduced the setting to 1mb. (I actually think it was storing images on my hard drive)

How do I reset? I deleted "softreset"

That sounds normal. After a battery pull, it will restart with the maximum amount of free memory.

It is normal for the BlackBerry to use 10 Mb, but it remains very stable at that point.

    45 - 36 = 9 Mb.
