Memory doesn't increase when I delete files
- The strange thing is, is that I was able to store a colossal amount of videos prior to my latest synch attempt. I had videos taken on the device going back over six months as well as professional videos I'd made, compressed and imported from iTunes and there were three of these.
I now have one of these videos and a fraction of what I'd taken on the device yet the memory is still in the red. Why is this? Is deletion not enough, do I have to 'empty the trash' like I do on my Mac?
Accepting defeat that I could not add a new video from my laptop, I tried to put back in what I had taken out and despite having deleted files, apps and ALL music, I was still in the red and could not even restore it to what it was!
I'm seriously considering restoring factory settings and starting from scratch. I have backed up everything and all my contact info should be ion my SIM card - but that's a last resort, i'd rather not have to.
Help much appreciated.10-14-11 10:10 PMLike 0
