I have the Curve 8310 and am wondering if memory card size affects how it functions? I have OS 4.2.2.170 and a 4gb memory card. I've noticed that my bb is slow to respond when I turn it on and after I disconnect it from my computer. Thanks.

Make sure all of your pics and music are saved to the card and not your device

Mem card size shouldn't affect performance of the curve itself. You should only have to wait if you are accessing the card as in media and that depends on the speed of your card.

this happened to me to when i added song to it, BUT just unplug it and let it sit while it uploads all your songs picures...etc. after wards it will be back to normal. it just slows down because its just loading everything.

4 GB card and your OS is fine. If running slow, try a battery pull with the device on and see if things flow better.

I'm using a 1gb card and haven't noticed any issues.
