Just got my 3rd bb curve, first 2 had problems with the trackball.
Tried doing a transfer using media manager and i get a fatal error when it is transferring to new device.
Any ideas on what the problem could be?
the latest replacement they sent me is the world edition.
I want to avoid the fee my provider charges for the transfer if i bring it in store, however i think in this case i could convince them to do it for free.
you might be able to just put the card into the new one and it will be fine, but if that doesnt work, just get a cheap card reader if you dont already have one and plug both the phone with the new media card and the old media card into the computer and drag and drop files between the folders.
Skip Media Manager. If you have a sd card in your phone, set it up as a mass storage device and when you plug your BB from your usb into your computer, you can use windows explorer.
options -> media card -> mass storage mode support ON
