Hey all, quick question about media files. I beamed a video that was on my palm to my berry, the file was 3.5mb, 4:30 long. I saved it successfully on my media card, but when I play it I only get to view 1:30 of the video?

My question is this, is there any other way I can retrieve the other 3 minutes of footage? I looked at the file properties and it tells me I have the whole file. Hmmm. Any help would be awesome.

    Thanks.

What file format is the file in? Also, what bitrate is the file encoded at? Do you get an error message of any kind displayed on your BB when it stops?

You can download a free media converter like Mediacoder and use these settings for your file conversion:

    Video:
    Mode: BitRate based; 450 kbs
    Format: XVid
    Container: 3GP

    Audio:
    Nero Encoder
    Resample: 22050 khz
    Profile: LC-AAC
    Target BitRate: 24kbs

    Picture:
    Resize: 320 x 240
    Crop: Disabled
    Frame Rate: 15 fps

I have full length movies encoded in .3gp using the settings above that play great on my 8330.

I didn't get any error messages. The file plays great, just only plays 1m30s worth of a 4m31s film.

Its a 3g2 file. I will try to convert it to a 3gp
